TGGR Outreach Project!

Hello!

I wanted to share with you a little information about some plans we have for the future of the company, and a very special program, in particular, we plan to create.

One of the things that Stacy and I really believe in is giving back to the community.  We had a long heart to heart about how we wanted to do this and came up with a plan for the project that we are going to put into place in the not too distant future. I’ve asked Stacy to tell you a little about it…

Some of our most vulnerable children in the United States are faced with trauma and are not completely supported. These children are our Teens in foster care. We have fewer homes for these children.

These children need a lot of support around them so that they are able to help break the cycle of trauma. I’d like to start a nonprofit organization where we have people who have been in foster care and are now adults who can mentor these kids so that these children will see that they can overcome what they have experienced in there life!

– Stacy Roberts

As an employee in social services, Stacy works very closely with these kids and she sees the many crises situations that they go through. She is very passionate about helping them and doing whatever we can to break the cycle of foster care that is being perpetuated generation after generation.

I was a foster parent for several years and had many children come through our family home. I was amazed at some of the conditions and experiences that these kids had to endure. It’s an area of real need within our communities, where there are too few foster homes, social workers, and support systems.

Stacy and I are working on plans to create this mentoring program that will hopefully be in place soon. If you are interested in this project, please let us know in the comments here. We would love to hear from you!

Thank you so much for being a part of our world,

From  Jenn E. at TGGR…

Cheers!
